Founded in 2020 by ranchers, Western Heritage Meat Company proudly serves family farms, ranches, and farm-to-table producers seeking custom USDA Inspected slaughter & meat processing. We work alongside producers as trusted partners—helping turn their livestock into a finished product they are proud to sell. We are committed to humane animal handling and the highest standards of cleanliness and quality. We offer processing for beef, pork, lamb, goat, bison, and yak, as well as USDA Inspected smokehouse and specialty products, delivering vacuum-sealed, retail-ready meat with custom labeling for direct-to-consumer and retail sales.

Our mission is to empower farmers and ranchers with USDA-inspected meat processing that allows them to set their own prices, build sustainable livelihoods, and preserve their operations for the next generation—while providing our community with access to high-quality, locally raised meats.

How to Process
Step One.
Make an appointment
Call our office to schedule an appointment. We highly recommend scheduling well in advance, however, we also have a call list. Get your name on it and if there is a cancellation we will give you a call!
Step Two.
Drop Off your animal
Bring your animal & brand inspection the afternoon before the scheduled kill date. Then fill out your cut sheet with the instructions for the butcher online within one week of drop off.
Step Three.
Pick up your meat
We ask that you kindly pick up your finished product within 8 business days of notification that your meat is ready for pick up. Need more time? Ask us about our long term storage options!
